Joomla! version: 2.5.11
PHP version: 5.2.17
MySQL version: 5.1.49
Host: Dreamhost
Akeeba Backup version: 3.7.6

EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

Description of my issue:

My backup file size exploded several-fold. The last backup was 1.2 GB, the one previous to that was 283MB - with no substantial changes in the site. I read related troubleshooting articles and went into Manage Backups and deleted all backup files. Then took a backup again and the third backup is still 1.2 GB.

Attaching backup log.
Thank you for any assistance you can provide.

You may need to exclude the test site you have under csd_test1 or at least its backup archives and its tmp, cache and administrator/cache folder.

Hi Nicholas,
If I'm just backing up my www.coffeeshopdog.com site, and csd_test1 is an entirely different URL, how does this affect the size of my backup?
Thanks!

csd_test1 is a subdirectory of your main site. Unless you tell Akeeba Backup to exclude it how should it know that this directory has a different site and should not be included in the backup?
