Description of my issue:

Hi, I use Akeeba Backup 3.7.7 with Joomla 3.1.1
I set up a cronjob for automated backup and everything works very well.

But. I can't delete older backups from the backupmanagement overview. The files will be deleted from the server but the entries in the management stay still there.

And, the quotas doesn't seem to work. I set quotas to delete all backups older as 7 days but nothing happens. Or doesn't it work if backups are made with a cronjob? I can't say for sure if it is not the same problem as stated above because I hadn't looked after that. Maybe the files were deleted but the entries not.

There are two buttons: "Delete Files" deletes the files but not the backup records. "Delete" deletes both the files and the backup records. I guess you are using the wrong button.

Only backups whose records appear in the Manage Backups page take part in the quota management.

No, I tried it with both buttons of course. The entries can't be deleted.

What do you mean with "records"? The backups from the cronjob do appear in the management list, that's not the problem. Or does the description has to contain special text or variables?

This is not possible. It has never happened to anyone else. The only way it could possibly happen would be a Javascript conflict between a third party plugin and Joomla!'s own Javascript (this is what we're using in the toolbar of all our components), but in this case no administration page on your site would work.

> What do you mean with "records"?
Each line in the Manage Backups page is a backup record. I hope that's more clear.

It is possible as you can see in the screenshot. I took another screenshot with an error which appears if i click any backup record in the backend. Maybe this is a hint for the solution.

Here's the error message.

You seem to have an outdated version of the framework upon which all of our components are built. can you please try to install the latest dev release from https://www.akeebabackup.com/download/akeebapro.html Please note that if you still have the same problem after installing this dev release you have to follow the instructions in https://www.akeebabackup.com/home/news/55-general/1502-troubleshooting-instructions-for-feb-2013-releases.html

Thanks Nick,

after installing the dev release everything is ok. The error message by clicking a record is away too.
