Akeeba Backup version: 3.2.7

EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

Description of my issue:

Hello we are trying to restore a joomla 1.5 site and I have tried both directly and via ftp (with kicktemp directory added) but still getting php errors. Problem might be that there is an addon joomla site directory in the backup that I should have excluded but it's in there. I tried adding that directory to the restoration directory but still get his error:

Could not upload startnowagency.com/tmp/install_51302ced11be1/site/libs/getid3/getid3/module.tag.id3v2.php

The main joomla files do extract into the directory, and i'm looking through but don't see a backup log, happy send one if you can point me to the right place.

Hello John,

You can always extract the files locally, using Akeeba eXtract Wizard and upload them to your site with your favourite FTP client application. You can then start the restoration by visiting http://www.example.com/installation/index.php where www.example.com is the domain name of the restored site. This completely works around Kickstart so you don't even need (and shouldn't) upload kickstart.php or the backup archive.
