The packages of our latest versions of our components are rather big. Since the default maximum upload size on most servers is just 2Mb this may cause an upload error. The best solution is to ask your host to set the following in the server's php.ini:
upload_max_filesize = 10M
post_max_size = 10M

If this is not possible, there's a good chance that the following lines in your .htaccess file may work on most servers:
php_value upload_max_filesize 10M
php_value post_max_size 10M

If this still doesn't help you can always follow the manual installation instructions in our documentation.

You can extract the installation ZIP file and copy the "fof" directory in your site's "libraries" directory. This will allow you to get access back to your site.

Hi Nicholas,

One question about

upload_max_filesize = 10M
post_max_size = 10M

this is from the hoster
and said

/etc/php/cli-php5.3/php.ini:post_max_size = 8M
/etc/php/apache2-php5/php.ini:post_max_size = 8M
/etc/php/cgi-php5.3/php.ini:post_max_size = 32M
/etc/php/apache2-php5.3/php.ini:post_max_size = 8M

/etc/php/cli-php5.3/php.ini:upload_max_filesize = 32M
/etc/php/apache2-php5/php.ini:upload_max_filesize = 32M
/etc/php/cgi-php5.3/php.ini:upload_max_filesize = 32M
/etc/php/apache2-php5.3/php.ini:upload_max_filesize = 32M

still got internal error when i uploaded extention and then upload

Regards

Gerhard

Since I don't know how your host's environment is set up I can't possibly know if any of those files is being loaded. There's always an alternative.

Go to the download page of the component you want. Next to the Download button there is a link called DirectLink. Right click on it and select Copy Link. Go to Extensions, Manage Extensions, Install from URL and paste the URL there, then click the button next to it. This works on 90% of sites.
