Have I read the related troubleshooter articles above before posting (which pages?)? yes
Have I searched the tickets before posting? yes
Have I read the documentation before posting (which pages?)? cannot find any reference to release of memory used
Joomla! version: 3.0.3
PHP version: 5.3.21
MySQL version: 5.5.30-cll
Host: lunarpages.com VPS (dedicated virtual server)
Akeeba Backup version: 3.7.4
EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.
Description of my issue:
When I run the CRON job
/usr/local/bin/php /home/USERNAME_not_shown_on_this_public_TICKET/public_html/cli/akeeba-backup.php
each morning at 0200 zulu
the free- m memory reported plummets to less than 50MB available.
In some instances the system goes into SWAP usage !
IS THERE a way to get Akeeba Backup to RELEASE the system memory that it used during the backup process?
This is the only Joomla related software that I'm using that seems to be this memory intensive, and does not automataically release the memory when the process is finished.
THANKS for your help - DANK !
Regards,
Kent
