Mandatory information about my setup:

Joomla! version: 2.5.9.
PHP version: 5.3.21-1~dotdeb.0
MySQL version: 5.5.28-1~dotdeb.0
Host: alfahosting
Akeeba Backup version: 3.7.

EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

Description of my issue:

 

After Update i cant access Akeeba Backup anymore.

After updating there comes the postsetup page, after clicking this, i got a 500 internal server error.

i logged in again and now i cant access akeeba backup in the backend anymore.

the page wont load, it leaves blank.

Please try installing the latest developer's release from https://www.akeebabackup.com/download/developer-releases/akeebapro.html

If you cannot access Joomla!'s extensions installer page, please remember to disable the System - System Restore Points plugin.

Do note that even though the dev release is marked as "alpha" it's actually the same release as 3.7.0 with one important change: I have updated Akeeba Strapper which is used to provide the CSS and Javascript for the backend. In version 3.7.0 this used a LESS parser to generate the CSS on-the-fly which I believe is the source code of the issues being reported with 3.7.0.

Please do confirm the fix. I will need to have some positive feedback before I can release a 3.7.1 version.

Excellent! I am getting positive feedback from all people who reported this issue. I am going to release version 3.7.1 later today.
