EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

Description of my issue:

 

I need put to cron to do a backup daily. How can I do it?

Akeeba Backup Professional 3.4.3 does support CRON jobs. For more information you have to take a look at the PDF documentation available from its download page. The on-line help pages have been updated for version 3.6.12 and no longer correspond to what you could use on the now unsupported 3.4.3 version.

Just to give you an idea, the CRON script you have to use with Akeeba Backup 3.4.3 is administrator/components/com_akeeba/backup.php instead of cli/akeeba-backup.php you see in the on-line documentation right now. There are also a few minor changes (like the fact that you need to use a single dash instead of a double dash for options) but these are all analysed in the PDF documentation.

It's 3.4.3 but I would urge you to take a look at https://www.akeebabackup.com/compatibility.html Not all Akeeba Backup versions are compatible with all PHP versions. You must select your version based on both the Joomla! and PHP versions installed on your server.
