Go into your site's temporary directory and delete all files you will find there. Then retry taking a backup and send me the backup log file.

OK, the backup completes just fine and I don't see any unreadable directory messages there.

Hello, when there really are unreadable directories or files, do they appear in that case in the log? Do you have a sample warning line? How to distinguish between a false warning and a real warning without posting a support ticket?

Thank you!

Really unreadable files and directories are always logged by the archiver engine. A sample log line would be

DEBUG  |130213 00:40:42|Unreadable file <root>/components/com_foobar/baz.php. Check permissions

If you don't see such a message there is no unreadable file or directory.
