Mandatory information about my setup:

Have I read the related troubleshooter articles above before posting (which pages?)? Yes
Have I searched the tickets before posting? Yes
Have I read the documentation before posting (which pages?)? Yes
Joomla! version: (2.5.9)
PHP version: (unknown)
MySQL version: (unknown)
Host: (inmotion)
Akeeba Backup version: (3.6.12)

EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

Description of my issue:

I receive the following error when attempting cronjob backup (it happens with backup.php and alt-backup.php)

/bin/sh: usr/bin/php: No such file or directory

This is the command:

usr/bin/php /home/xxxcensoredxxx/public_html/cli/akeeba-altbackup.php

This seems to be the path to php as put forth by inmotion hosting here

http://forum.inmotionhosting.com/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=13214

I have double checked and the file seems to be there so I am confused.

You forgot the leading slash.

usr/bin/php

and

/usr/bin/php

are two completely different paths in the Linux world. It's the same difference as Foo\Bar\Baz.exe and C:\Foo\Bar\Baz.exe in the Windows world.
