DEBUG |121205 10:22:35|Total size of backup archive (in bytes): 779550571

Size of backup file, about 780Mb. You can't transfer a backup that big in a single part. Why? It's documented: https://www.akeebabackup.com/documentation/akeeba-backup-documentation/step-by-step-guides.html#how-to-cloud-backup-basic-config

Moreover I'd like to remind you that Dropbox only allows you to upload files up to 150Mb big. This means that you must use the Part size of split archives and it must be a value less than 150Mb (realistically it should be somehwere between 5 and 20 if you want to use the backend backup mode)

This looks like the server is slamming the door on your face with a timeout error. Let's try to fix that. In Akeeba Backup's configuration:

- Minimum execution time: 1 second
- Maximum execution time: 5 seconds
- Runtime bias: 50%

and run a new backup. If it still fails post your new log file.
