Hi Nicholas,

I am sorry to disturb you.

I have installed Admin Tools Pro and Akeeba Backup on a Joomla 3.0.1 site (2.4, 3.6.5).

The front-end was bricked with the error seen here:

http://www.brightbeaninc.com/

Furthermore, the backend is not accessible as seen here with a MySQL error (page-source):

Error: 0 SQL=SELECT `u`.`id`,`u`.`email`
FROM `jmf7t_user_usergroup_map`
INNER JOIN `jmf7t_users` AS `u` ON(`g`.`user_id` = `u`.`id`
WHERE `g`.`group_id` = '8' AND `u`.`block` = '0' AND `u`.`sendEmail` = '1'

As you can read in Akeeba Backup 3.6.6's changelog I am already aware of it and have already fixed it :)

As I can't access my site, should I just upload the contents of the 'backend' folder in the installer package to the com_akeeba in site's backend?

Just delete the plugins/system/akeebaupdatecheck directory

Hi,

This has been fixed with upgrading to 3.6.7.

Unfortunately, when trying to create a backend backup, I got:

AJAX Loading Error
HTTP Status: 500 (Internal Server Error)
Internal status: error
XHR ReadyState: 4
Raw server response:

I ran the configuration wizard with no effect. I have several sites on this server running Akeeba on J2.5.x.

I have attached my php.ini, htaccess, and a log of a failed backup.

Jordan, I see those lines in the log:
DEBUG |121014 17:08:59|-- Loading filter Extradirs.1

DEBUG |121014 17:08:59|-- Loading filter Extensiondirs.1

See the dot-one at the end? I am not shipping those files with Akeeba Backup. These are leftovers. And I bet that they are causing a problem, especially if there are files with invalid contents (which I bet they are). We'll have to remove all files related to Akeeba Backup and re-install them.

Remove the following folders:
- administrator/components/com_akeeba EXCEPT the administrator/components/com_akeeba/backup directory and the administrator/components/com_akeeba/akeeba/serverkey.php file. If you remove that directory and that file you will lose your existing backups and/or settings.
- components/com_akeeba
- administrator/modules/mod_akadmin
- media/com_akeeba
- plugins/system/plg_srp
- plugins/system/plg_akeebaupdatecheck
- plugins/system/plg_oneclickaction
Now you can re-install Akeeba Backup and the problem should be gone.

It's the truth :) The first time I saw it it took me several posts to figure it out.
