Description of my issue:

Hi Nicolas,

I reed a post about the RC version of Admin Tools and a possible bug. I also noticed the live update showed met a RC when my settings are set to only stable.

But I now also have a site where Akeeb Backup tells me I'm up to date (green button). But when I click on it I see (only( a RC new version, but I can not update. My current version is 3.5.2., but on other sites I'm on 3.6.5.

Also a bug?

Admin Tools: Known issue, will be fixed in the next release
Akeeba Backup: this is the expected behaviour; you've told it to only allow you to update to stable releases, so it won't allow you to update to the RC

But on an other site with also 'stable' setting for updates I'm on:
Akeeba Backup Professional 3.6.5 (2012-09-14)

On the site I send a screenshot from the current version is:
Akeeba Backup Professional 3.5.2 (2012-06-18)

So why is this one not updating to 3.6.5? Is this not a stable release?

Or am I missing something here?

IIRC there were some bugs in Live Update back then, probably you have an affected release. In any case I don't feel like debugging it because a. it's an old and unsupported version and b. the solution is dead simple: download and install the new release on top of it.
