Running the Configuration Wizard does set the part size for split archives automatically. Your feature request is already implemented, a few months ago ;)

BUT it did not activate spliting and Split it by auto.

I was Running the wizard twice and tried Backup After each Run. it failed.

There is one catch. The Configuration Wizard tries part sizes up to 20Mb. On some servers the file size limit is 25, 30 or 100Mb (I've seen all three values). In those cases the Configuration WIzard doesn't know that and uses a part size of 2Gb. I could add those limits to the Configuration Wizard, but it would cause more problems than this would solve (due to timeouts, running out of disk space on tight hosting plans and so on).
