Joomla! version: (2.5.6)
PHP version: (5.3.14)
MySQL version: (5.0.8)
Host: (Linux linux 3.2.0-24-virtual #39-Ubuntu SMP Mon May 21 18:44:18 UTC 2012 x86_64 )
Akeeba Backup version: (3.6.3 Pro Subscription)

EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

Description of my issue:
Using Akeeba Backup Pro Joomla Backed Component to Automatically Restore Backups.
Akeeba runs backup process OK.
Akeeba runs restore process OK, including final deletion of temporary installation files.
After this final step Akeeba indicates that it will now return to the new website homepage.
Instead it returns to the Akeeba restoration system information screen (the first screen you get when running an Akeeba restoration.
Can't manually access the Joomla frontend or backend i.e. by typing mydomain.com/index.php or mydomain.com/administrator - it just defaults back to the Akeeba restoration page.

I tried the restore process using two newly created backup files (both JPA format) and also tried a backup of an old website taken 6 months ago. Same problem each time.....

Sorry - I do not have the log.zip as I returned to working state by restoring my virtual machine. If there is not an obvious solution I could rerun the process on a new VM.

Thanks for your support......

This happens because it was not possible to delete the installation directory automatically after the restoration was over. Just delete the installation directory and your site will be back into working condition.
