Joomla! version: (2.5.6)
PHP version: (5.3.17)
MySQL version: (unknown)

Akeeba Backup version: (3.6.3)

EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

Description of my issue: I am saving a backup using the command line (cli backup)started by a cron job. My site time zone is US pacific time (from configuration.php: public $offset = 'America/Los_Angeles';). The backup name is set to structuresolver-[DATE]. The backup cron job ran at 8 pm Pacific time on 8/26. The created file was named structuresolver-20120827 (should have been structuresolver-20120826).
I can send you the log file if necessary.
Thanks

The actual code which asks Joomla! to fetch the date and time in local format can be found in administrator/components/com_akeeba/akeeba/platform/joomla25/platform.php in function get_local_timestamp. When I test my CRON job script I do get whatever I have set up in my Joomla! configuration.php. The problem that I do see is that Joomla! ignores the timezone passed to JDate unless you pass a second parameter to JDate::format(). Which is the opposite behaviour from the Joomla! 1.5 API which would return the local time by default. Dang! This will be fixed in a future version of Akeeba Backup.
