You have to upgrade to Akeeba Backup 3.4.3. You are using a very old version which no longer works with Dropbox.

Please give me a link to download version 3.4.3

When I click the upgrade link in component it takes me to 3.6.3 which show an error on upgrade

Well, have you tried looking in Akeeba Backup's download page? Just scroll a little and it's right there.

Now, about the update message. Why do older versions report there's an update available even if it's not supported? This has to do with the Live Update system in use by our software. Older versions of Live Update were not aware of Joomla! version compatibility of available versions of our components, therefore they would report any available newer version as an update you have to install. Changing that required a major change in Live Update and our update server. The change made it in Akeeba Backup 3.5.0 and our other components released after that date. Unfortunately older versions' Live Update code cannot be updated for obvious objective reasons. Releasing updates for older Joomla! versions is also not an option, as it would cause several issues on Joomla! 2.5 sites. Therefore you just have to make sure that you have the latest available release designed for your Joomla! version, as per our Version Compatibility page at https://www.akeebabackup.com/compatibility.html and ignore Live Update's prompts for updating Akeeba Backup.

I could fix the issue of upload to dropbox using the version you suggested.

I want to enable daily automatic backup to dropbox using Akeeba

I manually did backup and under post processing its uploading to dropbox fine.

I set a cron job for automatic uploading

But its seems the cron has failed and I get the following error log https://docs.google.com/open?id=0B_rQGHfXD8ltZl9WOGZCd0prN2c . Can not attach it here due to reasons unkonw

Can you investigate ?

You could not attach the log file here because you are supposed to put it in a ZIP archive first and then attach the ZIP archive here. We do not accept uploads of .log files for security reasons.

Now, the log file you have sent me is the back-end log file. This is not the CRON job's log file. If the CRON job has run you should see a log file either in the Command-Line or the Front-end origin, depending on whether you used the backup.php script or any other method. I want that log file to see what happened during the CRON job.

Please note that if you do see such a log file neither in the command-line nor in the front-end origin this means that the CRON job has not run. In that case you have to contact your host as I can't really help with CRON jobs not even starting.
