First, let's make sure this is not a partial installation. Please try installing Akeeba Backup Professional 3.6.1 again on your site, without removing your existing installation.

Another good idea is trying a different browser. I've had many issues with various versions of Firefox due to its flakey Javascript engine since a few versions ago. Internet Explorer 6 through 8 may also not work; I don't have access to these old versions of the browser any more, so I have only tested with IE 9.

If this doesn't help, please do try cleaning your browser's cache, then completely quit and restart your browser. Also make sure that you turn off any browser extensions, antivirus and/or Internet security applications which may be blocking Javascript.

If this still doesn't help please post back. I will have to request some information so that I can log into your site and troubleshoot directly on your site. I'm sure it's not a bug in Akeeba Backup (I just checked again to be perfectly sure).

Thank you for your reply. The problem is solved. I tried using Internet Explorer 9 and it worked without updating Akeeba Backup Professional 3.6.1. I think that the problem was in the cache of the Mozilla Firefox 14.0.1. Thank you!
