Joomla! version: (2.5.6)
PHP version: (5.2.9)
MySQL version: (5.0.95-community-log)
Host: (siteground)
Akeeba Backup version: (3.6.1)

EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

Description of my issue:
After installing the 3.6.2 update, I can't install some extensions. I set the error reporting param to Maximun in serve config and I got this error

Fatal error: Call to undefined method SimpleXMLElement::count() in /home/-----/public_html/tienda-online2/administrator/components/com_akeeba/plugins/models/installer.php on line 290

Then I went to the extension manager and disable all akeeba backup and akeeba admon tools, with same results. Then I click on an option shown below:

and then I got these other errors:

Akeeba Backup 3.6.0 had a known issue with the System Restore Points feature and hosts running on PHP version 5.2. The System Restore Point would start but it would end up throwing an AJAX error and the installation halting. This issue was successfully fixed in Akeeba Backup 3.6.1. If you believe you are affected by this issue, please disable the "System - System Restore Points" plugin, upgrade to Akeeba Backup 3.6.1 and re-enable the plugin.

If you already have Akeeba Backup 3.6.1 you are not affected by this issue. Akeeba Backup 3.6.1 is tested against a dozen servers, test and live, running different versions of PHP 5.2, 5.3 and 5.4. If you have an installation issue it may be caused by your extension's installation script, but certainly not by Akeeba Backup.

If you do not believe that I actually know what I am talking about, please uninstall Akeeba Backup and retry installing your extension. The problem will, of course, persist because it is not related to Akeeba Backup as I said. You will, however, have lost all your existing backups and backup settings because you uninstalled Akeeba Backup.

For what is worth, taking a look at the second screenshot it is abundantly clear that the error is thrown at step 10 of the backtrace, when JInstaller calls RokSprocket's post-installation script. Since I am not RocketTheme (who made that plugin you're trying to install) I cannot help you and will close this ticket instead. Please ask RocketTheme to check RokSprocket's post-installation script for an incompatibility with your site.
