Joomla! version: 2.5.6

Description of my issue:
I bought two licenses and using Akeeba Admin-Tools PRO & Akeeba-Backup PRO for administrative and designing work while programming and designing. Now ... my client locked me out and did not pay his bill.
I designed all this stuff on *his* server ... okok ... I know ... this never will happen again, while client did not pay the whole bill.

My question: He now got my Akeeba PRO-key(s !!!) and is running his site "without any right and permission to use it" ... is it possible to block my key, get a new one ... or ... I dont know.

No problem to buy a new key, but I dont want to let him any money I spent into this nice peace of software!

Please contact me personal or lookup my key ...
Hope you can help me.
Thanks!

Hi Oliver,

yes, you can block the Download ID. Just click on the "Forgot my password" link on our site's login page and reset your password. This causes the Download ID to change as well. This will not allow him to update the software. Unfortunately I don't provide a remote killswitch because I don't believe in the concept – I actually consider it an anti-feature, as per Stallman's definition of the term. Well, at least he won't be able to update Akeeba software on his site.

PS: For what is worth, I hope you had signed a contract with your client. If you do, you can sue his pants off and force him to pay you. If not, please watch Mike Montero's "F*ck you, pay me" presentation. I mean, really, please do watch it. It's the first thing a freelancer should watch before taking his first freelancing job :)

Wonderfull ... ! ...And it worked! .. .close ticket, pls.

PS: ... contract was signed, client payed just half, lawer send some letters ... It's a mass!
What I've learned: NEVER code/design/copy or paste ON A CLIENT SERVER, while he/she did not pay your (WHOLE) work ....

Thank your very much!!!!
