Hi,

I am using Akeeba Backup for many Years now, but on my new Webhost (which I am on for 1 1/2 years now), the Configuration Wizard always exits with a failure that the max. Execution Time is set too low.
I never had a Problem backing up Sites, even large ones with 1,5GB.

I used to be on a dedicated managed Server (only a dual core Celeron, but only 25 Customers),
and now switched to a managed Vserver (Execution Time with a php Benchmark Script has nearly doubled), the Problem still persists.

As I am not root, I cannot install specific Software, but I can change php Performance Settings.
Even if I give php a max Execution Time of 60 Seconds 120mb of ram per Task, the Akeebabackup still finishes with the Error that the Execution Time is too low

The configuration wizard is using some heuristics to figure out what is the maximum execution time it should try first. It is possible that the PHP configuration prevents it from successfully retrieving the necessary information, causing the error message. Don't worry, though! You can always do a manual set up. I'd try the following sets of Configuration values:

1. Minimum execution time: 1 second, Maximum execution time: 30 seconds, Runtime bias: 75% (I will write these in shorthand notation, i.e. 1/30/75)
2. 1/20/75
3. 1/14/75
4. 1/10/50
5. 1/7/50
and stop when I find one which works with the site. This is very close to what the configuration wizard does.
