You have a multi-part archive. Yes, the last part (with the .zip) extension is about 1.4Mb long. But there are also the .z01, .z02 and .z03 parts which are 25Mb each. Take a look at your Dropbox directory. They should be also transferred because I see this in your log, telling me that they have been transferred:

That's very odd, they are definately not in my designated dropbox folder.

I've checked in my synced folder and by logging into dropbox in a web browser.

Is this a dropbox issue?

Let's try something different. Go to Akeeba Backup's Configuration page and find the "Data processing engine" row. Click the Configure button. Uncheck the "Process each part immediately" checkbox and run the backup again. Do you see the files in your Dropbox directory now?

That got it Nicholas :)

Also, just want you to know that Akeeba saved my life (and my company) today. We had a malware incident and were able to recover from an earlier backup.

Keep up the goodw work!

Spoke too soon!

When I go to open the zip file in dropbox it says there is an unexpected end of archive. So are not all the parts being transfered?

The following files are in the dropbox folder fromt he latest backup:

www.clothierjones.com-20120730.zip
www.clothierjones.com-20120730.z01
www.clothierjones.com-20120730.z02
www.clothierjones.com-20120730.z03

According to the log these are all the parts there are. I am wondering which software is giving you the unexpected end of archive, though. As stated in the documentation you should only use Akeeba eXtract Wizard or Kickstart to extract backup archives generated by Akeeba Backup. Third party unarchivers may not understand multi-part archive formats or have issues with the way files larger than 1Mb are stored by Akeeba Backup. Most notably, multi-part archives can only be extracted using PKZIP for Windows and WinZIP. I've tried 7-Zip, WinRAR, Windows' own compressed folder extraction wizard and a few other InfoZIP-based unarchives (including the command-line unzip programme shipped with most Linux distributions and Mac OS X) without any success.

I was indeed using winrar to try to extract.

however, I have now tried using Akeeba eXtract Wizard and I get the following error:

The central directory is missing records; your archive appears to be truncated and can't be extracted

I just run a test, backing up a site and sending the files to Dropbox. I then tried to extract the files which Dropbox downloaded automatically. I can't use eXtract Wizard just like you. I can, however, use Kickstart 3.5.2. It seems that there is a bug in eXtract Wizard. Unfortunately, I can't fix it right now – you'll understand in a few hours why ;) Can you please try using Kickstart instead?

I can confirm that Kickstart works. I'll use that until you can take a look at the eXtract Wizard.

Thanks for the help!
