Joomla! version: (2.5.26)
PHP version: (5.3.13)
MySQL version: (5.1.63-cll)
Host: (optional, but it helps us help you)
Akeeba Backup version: (3.5.2 Pro)

EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

Description of my issue:
I was trying to back up the Joomla site, using Akeeba Kickstart (3.5.2), using this url: Valencia.directrouter.com/~jglinet/kickstart.php
But I am getting this error message:
"An error has occurred.
The requested page cannot be found.

#404 Article not found"
You may also view the site's screen page by clicking this link: file:///Users/josephglariosa/Desktop/404%20-%20Error_%20404.html
I am able to access my site home page and/or the backend but I don't know what to look for or how to figure out the error message.
I checked with my System Administrator, Rochen, which told me they had checked the Valencia.directrouter.com/~jglinet/kickstart.php url, but they don't see it in my public_html folder, which is what is causing the error.
But I thought I saw it. Perhaps, we are looking at different pages.
Where can I find the ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file?
How do I put it in the public_html folder?

Thanks.

I agree with them. The reason you are getting that error page is that kickstart.php does not exist inside the public_html directory. Most likely you uploaded it one directory above that, which is outside the web server root. Just open your FTP programme (e.g. FileZilla), go inside the public_html folder and upload kickstart.php to it.
