Hi

I have read the article about - Admin Tools upgrade and installation issues - and have followed the necessary instructions, but I haven't had any success.

I'm not asking for support as you have mentioned it could be a server issue. However I have just re/installed a number of different plugins/components including the most recent version of Admin Tools Pro and I didn't receive any of these errors.

If you provide me with more information maybe I can guide you. Can you please tell me the versions of Joomla!, Admin Tools, MySQL and PHP you are using? Also I don't understand something. You say that you have a problem installing Admin Tools, but on the second paragraph you say you have installed Admin Tools Professional. This doesn't compute as having installed the component means you can't be asking for help installing the component - unless I am missing something here :) Should I assume that you tried installing the other components and AT Pro on a different site?

I can see how that looked a little confusing re installing AT Pro. It was actually Akeeba Backup I was referring to. My apologies for not being clear.

I already had Akeeba Backup installed and was just updating to the most recent version, but I couldn't. It looks as though I've gone as high as I can go regarding versions for Joomla 1.5.26 and that's most likely why I couldn't install 3.5.2. I just went straight for the update without checking requirements!!

I'll be updating to Joomla 2.5 and I'll try to reinstall then. If I have any dramas I'll make an educated post.

Cheers

OK, that makes perfect sense now. The maximum Akeeba Backup version you can install on a Joomla! 1.5 site is 3.4.3. Yes, it's a very good idea upgrading to 2.5 :)
