Description of my issue: cpanel cron secret key

How do I format my CPanel Cron Job String to include the Secret Key.
You may want to update the Documentation to include this.

Thank you for your time and attention.

I'm not sure what you mean? The documentation states exactly the URL you have to use for front-end backup, including the &key=yourSecretKey part which defines the key. Can you tell me which CRON method (front-end backup, akeeba-backup.php or akeeba-altbackup.php) are you trying to use?

Example From Documentation: Native CRON script > Setting up a CRON job on cPanel

/usr/bin/php5-cli /home/myusername/public_html/cli/akeeba-backup.php -profile=YourProfileID

Where EXACTLY in this string does "&key=yourSecretKey" go
At the end? In the middle? One Space? No Space?

This is not a URL. This is a command line. There is no secret key mentioned anywhere because akeeba-backup.php and akeeba-altbackup.php do not need a secret key. If they needed I would have said so and included that in the instructions.

So just so I'm clear
I enable front end backup
Create a Secret Key
Setup a CRON Job in my CPanel without the Secret Key
And it works, correct?

Yes, exactly.

In fact, if you use the akeeba-backup.php file you don't even need to enable the front-end backup. That script does not use the front-end backup feature, it loads the backup engine directly.
