Joomla! version: (2.5.4)
PHP version: (5.2.4)
MySQL version: (5.0.51)
Host: (-)
Akeeba Backup version: (3.5.1)

EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: n/a

Description of my issue: Restoring a site to a server with php 5.2.4
The Akeeba backup installer "server check" is giving me an error that php version is >= 5.2.7, and the troubleshooter is telling me this is a Joomla issue.

Yet http://www.joomla.org/technical-requirements.html tells me 5.2.4 is minimum required version.

Note troubleshooter instructions says I may proceed but joomla is unlikely to proceed - but I can not proceed to "next".

Note this site was installed fine using Joomla installed on this server I am simply duplicating the site on the same server.

PHP 5.2.4 is buggy, it's five years old, it's end of life and not supported. I can not provide support for unsupported environments, more so when they are VULNERABLE and INSECURE.

please ask your host to upgrade to PHP 5.3.13 a.s.a.p.
