Mandatory information about my setup:

Have I read the related troubleshooter articles above before posting (which pages?)? ALL
Have I searched the tickets before posting? YES
Have I read the documentation before posting (which pages?)? YES
Joomla! version: 2.5.4
PHP version: (unknown)
MySQL version: (unknown)
Host: LOCAL TEST
Akeeba Backup version: 2.5.3 STABLE

EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

Description of my issue:
- Blank page after upgrading from 3.4.3 stable (on local copy of my live site)
- returning back through the browser (firefox) seems has been upgraded correctly...!?

SCENARIO:
- Set GoogleStorage as post-processing engine
- jpa files splited to max. 30Mb as recommended.
- set Client ID as Access Key: 1234567890XXXX.apps.googleusercontent.com
- set Client secret as Secret Key: ●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●
- set bucket as: XXXXXbackup
- Setd directory as: /

RESULTS:
- WARNING REPORTED AS:
AEUtilAmazons3::putObject(): [403] Unexpected HTTP status
Failed to process file F:/localtest/xxxxxxx/htdocs/jtest25/administrator/components/com_akeeba/backupsite-127.0.0.1-20120515-xxxxxx.jpa
Post-processing interrupted -- no more files will be transferred

- pay attention to the mentioned: AEUtilAmazons3::putObject()
Why is AmazonS3 mentioned when running GoogleStorage post-processing engine used under its own backup profile?

Hope this helps (may be I'm doing something wrong, too.. then, still testing),

GammX1

First things first, there is no such version as "Akeeba Backup 2.5.3 STABLE". Please try uninstalling whatever you have and install 3.5.0 Stable so that at least we know that we are on the same page here (I am trying to ensure you don't have an alpha version).

Regarding your question, both Amazon S3 and Google Storage use the same engine. In fact, Google Storage simulates Amazon S3's interface, therefore we are using the same piece of code in both S3 and Google Storage engines.

The next step you have to take is reading the documentation for our Google Storage integration again. The Access Key is not your Client ID; they are completely different things. In the documentation I have written step by step where you have to go and what you have to click in your Google account to generate an Access Key and Secret Key pair. I am sure you missed that part ;)

[SOLVED]
- Access key & Secret Key to set must be the ones generated through Interoperable Storage Access Keys option
And not the API Access: Client ID and Client Secret Key, I have set before by error
- NOW WORKS CORRECTLY
Hope this will help others,
