Description of my issue: I am having the exact issue that someone else posted with this topic. I am running Joomla 2.5.4 and I was upgrading Akeeba Backup Pro to Version: 3.5.a2. I get error 403 - An error has occurred. You are not authorized to view this resource. Then I try to log back in to the Admin Panel and it's completely white.

I saw someone else having the same problem on the support tickets so I renamed administrator/modules/mod_akadmin by appending _001 so that I can log back into administrative side. What is the next step so that I can install this correctly?

Thank you.

The error is caused by Joomla! not copying all necessary files when performing the upgrade. Just download Akeeba Backup 3.5.a2 and install it on top of your existing installation. That should fix those issues.

Thank you. What I had to do is leave my folder com_akeeba in the administrator folder renamed with the _001 so that I can log into the back end of Joomla or else I just get the white screen. I went to Extension Manager. I came here to this site downloaded the akeeba backup package, then while logged into the Joomla Control Panel I FTP'd to my site to rename the folder back to com_akeeba. Uploaded the Akeeba Package in Extension Manager and it worked great. Thank you for your help.

Yes, that's correct. In the meantime I found what the problem is with the module and will fix it in the next release of Akeeba Backup.
