Joomla! version: 2.5.4
PHP version: 5.3.5
MySQL version: 5.1.49
Host: DreamHost
Akeeba Backup version: 3.4.3

EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

Description of my issue:
Kickstart 3.5.1 returns "No database definitions were found or no database was selected." in Firefox 12 (Win7 64). Works fine in Chrome. Firefox is a fresh install without any plugins enabled.

Seen a similar thread: https://www.akeebabackup.com/support/forum/person/11094.html

I also tried going back to 3.4.1 and installed with no issues.

Not a show stopper as it's easy to work around but thought I would pass it on. :-)

Please note that Kickstart extracts the archive. The database restoration happens inside the Akeeba Backup Installer script (as denoted by the title "Akeeba Backup Installer" in large, bold letters on the top of each page). ABI is included inside your backup. Its actual version is printed on the bottom of the page. I assume it reads 3.4.3, right?

Now, the problem you mention should not be browser-specific. The PHP code is checking for the existence of the databases.ini file inside the installation/sql directory. If it can't be found, it outputs that error message to the page. If it's found and is readable, no error message is output. Furthermore, I have Firefox 12 installed over here and I can't replicate this. Note: you may have to clear your browser's cache and cookies, like I do before each test.

Have you tried restoring the same backup archive with Firefox 12 and Chrome? It's a little strange that changing the browser would have an impact in an issue which is not related to the browser being used, but only to the server side of things :s I've tried the restoration using Firefox 12 on three server setups before replying, but it works every single time. I tend to believe that the browser being used is just a red herring.
