Joomla! version: (1.5.26)
PHP version: (5.2.17)
MySQL version: (5.0.92)
Host: (Ausweb, Australia)
Akeeba Backup version: (unknown)
PHP memory limit 64M

EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

Description of my issue:
I am getting Internal 500 Server error why trying to backup my website.
AJAX Loading Error
HTTP Status: 500 (Internal Server Error)
Internal status: error
XHR ReadyState: 4
Raw server response:
Internal Server Error
I have installed akeeba pro on 3 sites on this server and 2 of them cannot complete backup, they both contain quite a few images in galleries, but aside from that they are not particularly big. www.buildingworks.co.nz and www.newcastleivf.com.au. This ticket is for www.buildingworks.co.nz. I have read the quick start user guide 3.2 referencing Internal 500 Server errors, and have tweaked my configuration file but it still fails in the very last step of the backup process. Attached is Akeeba log file and image screenshot of configuration settings.
Configuration settings:
archiver engine jpa
Data processing engine No post processing
Part size for split archives 10meg
Maximum execution time 5secs
Execution time bias 50%
but am still receiving error message.
Any clues?
Thanks, Nicola Fleming, WebCoast

Well, according to that backup log file, a full site backup was completed just 3-4 hours before you sent me this email. I want you to check the following things:
- Have you set up the email after successful backup option? If you have, can you please turn it off? You can check it by clicking on the Component Configuration.
- Does the backup get listed with a Completed status in the Administer Backup Files page?
- Exactly at which point of the backup process do you receive the error message? Has the backup process run for a few minutes, reaching a point after 75%?

Hi, the backup was attempted less than an hour before opening this ticket, it is probably time zones which made it appear 3-4 hours earlier. The server is in USA.
No, the email after successful backup is not turned on.
In Administer Backup Files the backup status is Failed.
No, the backup does not reach past 75%. I tried again this morning (see attached log) and it reaches about 73% before internal 500 server error is received.

OK, let's try something. Go to the Akeeba backup Configuration page and modify the following settings:
- Minimum execution time: 1 second
- Maximum execution time: 6 seconds
- Runtime bias: 50%
and retry backing up. If that dails, please ZIP and attach the new log file.
