PHP version: 5.3.8
MySQL version: 5.1.61-log
Host: ServInt
Akeeba Backup version: 3.4.1

EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

Description of my issue:
I'm trying to update akeeba backup 3.4.1 to 3.4.3.
In the Akeeba backup control panel I select "Update Found" and go to the live update screen, when I select "Update to latest version" I get error:
JFolder: :files: Path is not a folder. Path: /home/proboat/public_html/tmp/com_akeeba_update
JInstaller: :Install: Cannot find Joomla XML setup file.

Do I need to make the tmp directory writable?

I don't use the Pro version of Akeeba backup but I do subscribe to the pro version of Akeeba Tools.

Yes, I'm relatively new to Joomla

This looks like as if the updater could not download the update file or could not extract it. Well, you can always do it the manual way: download Akeeba Backup 3.4.3's ZIP package and install it using the Extensions, Extension Manager page.
