Akeeba Backup version: Akeeba Backup Professional 3.4.3 (2012-03-21)

EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

Description of my issue:

When I download Akeeba archieves, do I download the restore point files too as they are .jpa files? And are they part of the files that I need to ftp in order to restore them using Kickstart?

You don't have to download restore points' JPA files. In fact, even if you download them, you can't restore them manually (not automatically, at least) so I don't see any reason to download them.
