You seem to have some files in your Akeeba Backup directory which we didn't put in there. Keep a local copy of your backup archives (they will be deleted in the next step), uninstall Akeeba Backup and install version 3.4.3.

If the problem persists please let me know; I will need to have access to your site's back-end to see what's going on.

Uninstall went fine.
Re-install worked fine.
Configuration worked fine.
First backup with fresh 3.4.3 crapped out during sql backup.

See attached log.

Thanks

Nicholas,

Tried another backup and seemed to work fine this time.

You can close this ticket...

If it's not to much trouble please remove my files from forum and/or forum posting.

Thanks - Love your product!

Deleted the files as per your request. It appears that your server had somehow closed/removed the SQL dump while Akeeba Backup was still writing to it during your previous backup :s
