Mandatory information about my setup:

Have I read the related troubleshooter articles above before posting (which pages?)? No
Have I searched the tickets before posting? Yes
Have I read the documentation before posting (which pages?)? Yes
Joomla! version: (Version 1.5.25)
PHP version: (unknown)
MySQL version: (unknown)
Host: (Rackspace Cloud Sites)
Akeeba Backup version: (3.3.11)

EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

Description of my issue:
When I set my cron to run every 5 minutes, a backup is made just fine. But when I set my cron to run every 7 days, it fails. I have uploaded a screenshot of my issue, as well as the log file. However, the most recent backup didn't fail because it was set to 5 minutes, so I'm not sure if the log file will tell you anything.

Thank you!

The log file indicates that the backup is successful.

Yes, my last backup worked because the cron job was set to 5 minutes. However, when I set the cron to once every 7 days, it does not work. Please see my attached screenshot above.

Is there a way to get access to old logs? I only see the view logs, which I believe is only the most recent backup.

If you are using exactly the same CRON method and exactly the same backup profile, running the backup at exactly the same time, the period of the CRON job is irrelevant to the outcome of the backup. If, however, you use a different CRON method and/or a different backup profile and/or run the backup at a different time of the day, you may have a problem which is caused by one of those changes.

Anyway, in order to help you I want you to run one backup with the method it makes it fail and ZIP & attach the backup log file here.

Well, it's been almost a month since you last replied here. You are using Akeeba Backup 3.3.11. The current version is 3.4.3 and I am about to release 3.5 in a few weeks. Maybe you should just upgrade to 3.4.3?

In any case, the log file indicates that the backup is successful, not failed. I have an idea, though. Go to Akeeba Backup, click on Configuration Parameters and disable the email on successful backup. I think that will solve this.
