Joomla! version: 2.5.3
PHP version: 5.3.5
MySQL version: 5.5.8
Host: localhost with xampp
Akeeba Backup version: 3.4.2

EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

Description of my issue:
Although I have installed Akeeba Backup version 3.4.2 I still get a reminder that there is a new version available in the Akeeba Backup Control Panel.
When I click on the icon there is the attached information in the following window.
This is a development version originally started on 1.7 then 2.5.2.
Before installing the Professional Version I had the Core Version of Akeeba Backup installed. I did not deinstall the Core Version before I installed the Pro version. I have purged all the caches I can think of.
This is absolutely not urgent since Akeeba Backup is working.

Normally this should go away after 24 hours.

Sorry if I was a little abrupt. It's just the umpteenth time I'm replying to this question :D It's the updates cache which lasts 24h. FYI, clicking on the "Refresh update information" on the update page has the same effect as waiting 24 hours.
