Joomla! version: 1.5.25
PHP version: 5.2.6
MySQL version: 4.1.22
Host: (optional, but it helps us help you)
Akeeba Backup version: 3.4.2

EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

Description of my issue:
On 1 of my sites akeeba doesn't transfer the files to dropbox.
Authentication steps were successfull
I did fix the permissions (admintools)

Hm, Dropbox doesn't return any errors but it still doesn't accept the file upload. I'm taking wild guesses now. Try the authentication again and make sure you haven't misspelled the directory name (Akeeba Backup can't create new Dropbox directories).
