Description of my issue: I installed the version 3.4.0 on J2.5 with normal installer (not via the updater). I moved it to another server, run kickstart 3.4.0, archive will expand but when I try to install the MySQL database the process fails with: Can't connect to database.

The settings are ok (!!). Tried it with several Internet connections (at least I login directly on the server and start the process from there) - no success. So I delete all and installed the .jpa file (which I make luckfully before I upgrade to v3.4) made with v.3.3.13. This works - same credentiels.

So does this bug be solved in 3.4.1? Can not send the log file because not available in the moment.

Thanks

I can only fix something when it's a bug. When it's not a bug, what's there for me to fix? This issue is most likely because you are mistyping something in the database connection details, using the wrong connection details or haven't set up your database properly on your server. Please read this: https://www.akeebabackup.com/documentation/quick-start-guide/abi-db-restoration.html especially all the yellow boxes. If this doesn't help, try these troubleshooting instructions.
