I am using Akeeba Backup Professional and have set up cronjobs to automate backups on 4 domains. These are running successfully apart from one small problem. I have set the backup count quota to only retain 2 backups. The cronjob deletes the old backups as expected but reports that it was unable to delete them. So our backups are in the state that we want them to be in, but the cron report always contains warnings.

This isn't a huge problem but if it creates warnings every time it will make it difficult to see when there are genuine errors/warnings occurring.

Hm, are these always the same backup files it refuses to delete? In that case, you can delete all but the latest backup and that should fix the problem.

It doesn't actually refuse to delete anything. The number of backups retained is correct and the old backups are deleted as expected. The problem is that despite deleting all the correct backups, the cronjob report always contains warnings that the backups were unable to be deleted (when in fact they were deleted successfully). It is these false warnings that I'd like to prevent.

Please ZIP and attach your backup log file.
