Mandatory information about my setup:

Have I read the related troubleshooter articles above before posting (which pages?)? Yes: Akeeba Backup throws an AJAX Error, 500 Internal Server Error or the backup does not complete
Have I searched the tickets before posting? No
Have I read the documentation before posting (which pages?)? Yes. I had a quick read through the Quick start guide and User Guide before installing.
Joomla! version: 2.5.1
PHP version: 5.2.17
MySQL version: 5.1.56-log
Host: Cirtex shared hosting
Akeeba Backup version: Akeeba Backup Professional 3.3.13 (2012-01-29)

EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

Description of my issue:

Hello,

I have been unable to get Akeeba Backup to complete a backup. I install the component, and immediately click to make a backup. I receive a 500 error prior to completion.

My log file is attached. I changed the domain name in the text file because this is a public ticket and the site is not live yet. Let me know if you need this.

I entered the troubleshooting url to see if there were any plugin conflicts and received this error:

"500 - An error has occurred.
View not found [name, type, prefix]: browser, raw, akeebaView
Return to Control Panel"

I disabled all of the third party plugins I could find. I was left with the list below. To cut a long story short, I received the same error message from the troubleshooting url.

If Akeeba backup works, I then plan to install the Admin Tools component which I purchased at the same time.

Thanks.

You have a very fast server with a relatively low memory limit, causing Akeeba Backup to run out of PHP memory. No problem, it's easy to work around using the fine tuning parameters. Please go to your site's backend, components, Akeeba Backup, Configuration and set the following settings:
- Minimum execution time: 1 second
- Maximum execution time: 7 seconds
- Runtime bias: 75%
Save and retry backing up. If that still fails, please ZIP and attach your new backup log file.
