I tried guessing your exact Joomla! version, exact PHP version, exact Akeeba Backup version used to take the backup, if you used JPA, JPS or ZIP format, how you transferred your backup archive, whether you've read the documentation and the troubleshooter (let alone which pages you read), which version of Kickstart or Akeeba eXtract Wizard (or none of the above) you used to extract the archive, which browser (make and version) you are using and the contents of your backup log file. Unfortunately, I am a lousy guesser.
So, in the absence of all of the mandatory information which you skipped mentioning despite being asked to when submitting this ticket, all I can tell you is that you have some junk characters in one of your SQL files. Most likely you are trying to restore the backup archive taken with a very old release or you are restoring it with an unsupported way.
