Akeeba Backup version: 3.3.11

EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

Description of my issue:
Just installed latest pro version of akeeba onto localhost (offline with xampp) for building a site tonight.Akeeba refusing to back up. Don't know why.

You are trying to upload a file from your local computer to Amazon S3. This is s-l-o-w as hell. If you use anything over 1-2Mb part files you will get timeouts. And that's exactly what you get :) This is not a problem with live servers as their connection to Amazon's server is 5x-100x faster than the typical xDSL connection we're using in our homes and offices.

Solution: disable Amazon S3 uploads when working on a local host.

Ya...5am and can barely keep the eyes open. Backup ran great just now, so once this site is moved to the live host, my work is done.
