Joomla! version: 1.5.25
PHP version: 5.2.17
MySQL version: 5.0.91
Host: 1and1
Akeeba Backup version: 3.3.11 and 3.3.12
EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.
Backups working fine.
Description of my issue:
Having some very odd things happening with a website and I can't seem to find any answers in any of the above documents. Initially, I got this error when attempting to upgrade Akeeba Backup. I have renamed the domain to MYDOMAINNAME to protect my client and changed the full path to MYPATH.
Warning: include_once(/MYPATH/MYDOMAINNAME/administrator/components/com_akeeba/version.php) [function.include-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /MYPATH/MYDOMAINNAME/plugins/system/srp.php on line 47
Warning: include_once() [function.include]: Failed opening 'MYPATH/MYDOMAINNAME/administrator/components/com_akeeba/version.php' for inclusion (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php5') in /MYPATH/MYDOMAINNAME/plugins/system/srp.php on line 47
After unsuccessfully looking for a solution, I logged out of the back-end interface and let the site "simmer" for a while.
Upon logging into the back-end an hour later, both Akeeba and Admin Tools upgraded without an issue, except for one small hitch.
The Admin Tools version is now upgraded to 2.2.a3, but the issue is with Akeeba Backup Pro, which displays the green checkmark stating "You have the latest version", but the version that appears is actually 3.3.11. If I manually install 3.3.12, I get the proper display, but then the Green checkmark is gone and displays "New Version Available".
How can something fail so terribly on the first try and then install successfully after waiting an hour or so? Hosting server issues?
When I have a contradictory message about having the latest version, but the display states otherwise, which one do I believe?
Thanks so much!
Janis
