Good evening, is it possible with kickstart to do only a database restore? I couldn't find it. Thanks!
Everybody will be able to see its contents. Do not include usernames, passwords or any other sensitive information.

You can kinda do that. I assume you have a full site backup.
First, use Kickstart to extract the backup archive on your local computer, or a subdomain, or basically anywhere except your site.
Copy the entire installation folder into your site, nothing else.
Go to your site's /installation URL and proceed with the restoration. Once the database restoration is over, close the browser window and delete the installation folder.

Thank you Nicholas. It is not possible I asume to only extract the full database to one SQL file?
Not directly. But you can follow https://www.akeeba.com/documentation/akeeba-solo/unorthodox-emergency-restoration.html to convert the .sql and .s* files, then concatenate them into one big .sql file.
Or you can save your time and just use the restoration script.

Thanks Nicholas. Indeed I see it's a lot better to use the restoration script. I hoped it was easy to extract the SQL file but anyway.
Thank you for help and I close the ticket.
