EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 10MiB, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.
The Kickstart restoration progresses OK until it gets to the Replace Data step. Then it tries several times and eventually gives up. During the first failed attempt, it shows this error:
HTTP Request Error
HTTP Status: 500 (Internal Server Error)
Internal status: error
XHR ReadyState: 4
Raw server response:
Then when it stops, it shows this:
For your information, the last error message was:
Broken session: cannot unserialize the data replacement engine; the serialized data is missing.
I can't get past this step. Any suggestions on how to fix this?
Akeeba Backup also reports, "We detected that you have one or more files using PHP auto-prepend mode" But there are no security plugins installed and the php.ini file entry shows it's disabled:
auto_prepend_file | no value | no value |
I inherited this Wordpress site and it's way out-of-date. I was hoping to install a copy of the website on a subdomain for testing purposes. Then I can update things without breaking the live website. That is why all versions of PHP, Akeeba Backup for WP, etc. are so old. The live site is still running PHP 7.1.18! That's why I had to use the old Akeeba Backup 7.4.0.1. On the subdomain I'm trying to copy to I set PHP to 8.1.5. Newer versions aren't available currently. I know... it's a lousy host and running on Windows server!
