Everybody will be able to see its contents. Do not include usernames, passwords or any other sensitive information.

We've hit a WordPress bug. The documentation of the upgrader_process_complete and its actual implementation differ in a way that's merely a PHP Warning on PHP 7, but a fatal error on PHP 8.
Despite the error, the update has been installed.
Even though we are fixing this issue for the next version, the next update will STILL show this error — but it will still be installed correctly. That's because WordPress idiotically uses the PREVIOUS version of the plugin to handle the upgrader_process_complete hook which is meant to run post-upgrade code.
Yes, WordPress expects software developers to either go back in time, or magically guess what changes they will be making to their software years before they make them… which is about as useful as a chocolate teapot. You can't make that stuff up…
