I want only administrators to see akeebabackup in the backend.

I do not want all other users such as Editors to have access to Akeeba. How do I do this? I've been searching around the akeeba interface but couldn't find user permissions .

Please advise.

Thank you.

Hello,

you can achieve this by using Joomla permissions. Inside Akeeba Backup component, get inside Options and the Permissions. There you can tweak the permissions to allow only Administrators and above to have access to the component.

Hello,

Thank you for the reply but I was asking for Wordpress. Not for Joomla.

Please advise.

I'm sorry, I read the wrong category, my bad.

We can make a change so only Administrators will be able to access Akeeba Backup, next week we will release a dev version so you can test it out.

To better understand the situation, can you please explain me why you need this change? So we can better understand the use case scenario.
