Good afternoon, I need a single file from a JPA file. Can I extract it instead of using kickstart on e.g. local wamp server?

Thanks!

Hello,

no I'm sorry, you need Kickstart to extract the JPA archive. You can run kickstart.php from the command line, but most of the time is easier to setup a new folder on your local web server and extract everything as explained here: https://www.akeeba.com/videos/1212-akeeba-backup/1620-abtc06-recovering-single-file.html

O.k. Davide I understand. I knew this but thought that maybe there is a different solution because I know in the past there was a file extraction tool from you.

But I will use kickstart.

Have a great day!
