Hello,

I'm not looking for help with backup or restoration so no log file attached.

I use Akeeba Backup for both Joomla and Wordpress. I have a couple Wordpress sites where the backup works fine but there's no email notification sent. Some do send the notification. I can't figure out why?

I actually do need the backup log file because it will tell me if the email is sent or not.

Getting an error that .zip file is not accepted. See attached screen shot.

Do NOT attach the .php file of the log file. We do not accept ZIP files containing PHP file. Instead go to Manage backups, click on View log next to the backup record you want help with. In the new page click on the Download Log File button. This downloads a TXT file. ZIP that file and attach the ZIP to your next post.

I still got no log file but I did get a log file from another client. I believe that this dev release       Version 9.3.3-dev202209291147-rev945be75    should address your issue. Please let me know if it works for you. I want to plan a new release for this week if all's well.

The link you provided is for the Joomla version. I'm having a problem with 2 of my WordPress sites.

I just went through your instructions to download the log file and can confirm that I followed the steps. Attached is a .zip file. I did not get an error when uploading last time. If I do this time I'll screen shot the error as I did the first time and reply to this right away. If no reply then no error.

It is the same problem in both CMS (it's part of the common code). I will make a new release tomorrow morning my time (early a.m. your time). It's currently 5pm here; I don't make releases after 4pm in the off-chance something doesn't go as planned with a release.

I've been traveling and not following this. I assume you're working on a build? This isn't critical so can wait for a new release. This problem only happens on a couple of my WordPress sites.
