our site was moved to a new server and we cannot access the wp admin - so I would like to know if there is a way to backup the site using akeeba backup for the wordpress site without accessing the wp admin panel.
thanks

Hello,

there could be a couple of options, but everything is tied to the following question: did you enable the frontend backup feature? If so, do you remember the secret key?

I did manual backups via the front end - I don't recall the key or it's number...

Ok, last try: do you have any way to trigger the CLI script using a CRON job and FTP access?
If not, I'm sorry but you're out of luck :(

First of all a dumb question: do you already have a backup? If so you can easily download it using FTP and restore your site to a new location.
If not, you'll have to setup a CRON job to take a backup (more info here), then you'll have to download it using FTP.
