Hi Guys

I attempted to transfer a WordPress site from a development domain to a test domain and the homepage was fine, but all of the other links give 404 errors. I've tried this numerous times, but had the same outcome.

I read the documentation and trouble shooter guides, but they seem to be Joomla specific. Are you able to point me to WordPress specific documentation, and if possible, guide me in the right direction?

I've used Akeeba Backup for Joomla before without any issues, but this is my time with WordPress.

Regards

Nick

Hello Nick,

Can you access the backend? If so, it means that the new host is not supporting .htaccess files.
Could you please double check with you host if htaccess are supported?

Hi Davide

Worked it out; I needed to re-save the permalinks.

All good now, thanks.
