I would like to enter my download id but I don't know where. The instructions page takes me nowhere.

Thanks for any help

Never mind, found it :-)

For anyone bumping in this thread, there are two ways to get a Download ID and it's the same for all of our software. The first place is the My Subscriptions page, where your main Download ID is printed below the list of subscriptions.

The second place is the Add-on Download IDs page where you can create an unlimited number of additional Download IDs. We recommend creating and using add-on Download IDs instead of your main Download ID. The reason is that the main ID will change whenever you change / reset your password. Site-wide password re-save was applied two times, on December 2013 and May 2014, due to Joomla! security upgrades and this resulted in the main Download IDs changing, frustrating a lot of users. The add-on Download IDs, however, do not change once generated. This makes them more useful in our opinion.
